Design Criteria of Architectonic Support Elements for People with Special Needs

Abstract

The design criteria to assist people with special needs are regulations and guides in continuous actualization, that are established based on special human needs, and experiences and research done in Architecture. The objective is extend its use, as well as offer orientation to the people responsible of planning, completing a project, building, maintaining and operating buildings to create including spatial areas, according to the inhabiting modes of the main part of the population with these needs.
