The School of Architecture and design at the Autonomous University of State of Mexico, has developed academic-labor strategies, which had focused on practice and professional internships, labor market induction courses, job exhibitions, job vacancies, conferences, postgraduate programs, partnerships and agreements.

Even though there are statistics from years 2010 and 2012 that arouse certain advances in the matter, they are somehow doubtful and not clear, due to the methodology used and the development of the analysis carried on at those times. Those results, in fact, never showed real application used in actions or decision making policies that would have helped to the achievement of a better academic and labor relationships.

The aim of this essay describes the problem and current situation between academic and productive sectors. Thereby, this document will present strategies and a number of measures that will help to the development of better areas of opportunity and links throughout systematization processes, derived from an analysis of needs each sector has.

Finally, this proposal will be implemented and will be used as a pilot program for other schools.
