Jose Ingenieros was clearly a libre-pensateur. But he, of course, also had defects, the main of which was his racism, since he thought black people were inferior beings not belonging to the human species. In this article the author reviews one of Ingenieros' works where his racims is most apparent: Cronicas de Viaje.
