ABSTRACT

Holism: one more of the methodological sustenances of the design

In the theoretical domain of the design knowledge field, holism can not be regarded as a pragmatic line or conceptual guidance to solve problems, needs or intentions. The holistic view is, like many other emerging theories of philosophy or other disciplines, plus an alternative methodology to reflect, analyze or project design.
