Educational practices that develop digital citizens: use of ICT in Colombia

The school environment, context, socioeconomic status, culture, customs and ways of life, social issues and family determines the relationship that the subject has with his similars. This whole subject determined in his actions, what leads to think that it is necessary to enhance pedagogical practices that promote the generation of dialogue and coexistence. The educable subject is characterized as a digital native era, where most of the occurrences can be carried out through Internet via cell phones, computers or electronic tables. However, and despite being a native digital, virtualization represents human actions, largely isolating the subject or discrimination toward those who do not possess knowledge about using these technological ways; which opens a rift between two generations gradually distancing. It`s necessary give a look to a horizon that glimpse the formation of a citizen, competent cognitive, moral, ethical and humane; with ability to function in a world inhabited with others and where ever an experience of human values to achieve de-virtualize, from humanization of technology in school settings becomes necessary.
