ABSTRACT
This paper analyzes the operation of the mini-fictions’ titles, while paratexts. This aims to outline a typology of the functions of titles. It begins by setting the little interest that has given to this part of the minifiction, and then it establishes a general theory of titles to be applied to examples of minifictions. This work will allow pointing out some of these functions and indicate based on these, the way some anthologists titled their work.
