ABSTRACT
The criteria to select information sources in humanistic and social sciences Research represents a long and uncomfortable debate among researchers. The strategies to determine the reliability of the sources and its hierarchy are being reformulated, mostly because of the transformations of the research objects and the spaces in which they converge. This not only forces reflection among professionals in the area. The reflection is also necessary in teaching taking into account the growing amount of students who meditate on topics involving web information.
