The good, the bad and the ugly in Moodle 3.1

This article provides an overview of the new features offered by Moodle 3.1, among which there can be mention the competency framework, improvement in the assignment grading process, massive file download, restore deleted content, global search for resources and pinned relevant forum discussions.
Some of the features that the authors considered more outstanding are commented with detail; specifically, “the good, the bad and the ugly”, along with some recent plugins that the authors find useful for Moodle spanish speaker users.
In addition, it mentions contributions made by some of the universities most involved with Moodle, including the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The text contains numerous links so that the interested reader can expand the information provided here.
