What can we do to face climate change in the coastal zone?
Keywords:

Much has been said about climate change and the terrible effects that it causes, mainly in the coastal areas of the world and of our country. On the coasts of Yucatán, it has affected us in various ways: increase in environmental temperature; more hot days throughout the year; more intense rains; increase in drought periods throughout the summer, followed by the risk of flooding in the rainy season; rise in sea level, and increase in the intensity and frequency of tropical cyclones. In this article, with information obtained through online surveys, we present how students in these coastal areas perceive climate change and what they do to deal with it.
