Aesthetics of the Street. 7th edition of a transdisciplinary congress

Abstract

This article-photo gallery describes the experience of the latest edition of one of the annual events of the Mexican culture of graffiti writers. Through a visual tour, you are invited to reread and appropriate this alternative urban culture. This congress has sought since its inception the meeting between producers and analysts of cultural practice called graffiti of writers. The author of this text has made several inquiries about (Pedroza, 2010, 2012, 2016); and by coordinating since its inception the Organizing Committee of this Congress, it produces the synergy necessary to generate a field of study that has as an object of analysis the alternative urban culture. This proposal focuses mainly on the graffiti of writers and on the artistic interventions carried out in the public space of cities.
