Abstract

The main goal of this article/paper is to present the effectiveness evaluation model in order to understand: a) the way Higher Education Institutions contribute to sustained development and, b) and how they improved their organizational performance. This model is the result of the necessity to act in the best possible way to confront the civilization crisis which our planet is now facing, specially in Higher Education Institutions and also show the actions which are on the agenda and the accomplishments that have already been made. The cornerstone of this model is the Systemic Approach and the Best Practices at the global level, taking into account the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as the main reference.
