I have 30 years of graduation and have worked in state and federal governments related to public health, animal health and production. I have given training courses to public servants and since 2004 I began to teach as a subject teacher; from 2014 I joined full-time as an undergraduate and postgraduate professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The subject that I teach in bachelor’s degree is regulation of Veterinary Medicine, and the main challenge as a teacher with the students is to break the paradigm since they think they need to learn about animals, diseases, but not regulation; however, I applied what I learned from my teachers of the Open University System, who skillfully combined theory with practice by presenting us with real-life examples and thus identifying the usefulness of it. In this podcast I share the experiences acquired.
