Inside every living being beats an invisible 24-hour mechanism: the circadian rhythm. This biological clock, synchronized with light and temperature, is the compass that dictates when to eat, migrate, or reproduce. However, in a world saturated with artificial lights, fragmented cities, and chemical pollution, this perfect machinery is breaking down. The climate crisis and urban expansion are “poisoning” wildlife’s time, causing imbalances that threaten everything from the pollination of our food to the survival of entire ecosystems. Understanding these disturbances is not just a matter of science; it is an urgent call to restore the synchrony between our way of life and natural cycles. This misalignment tells us it is time to act; only by respecting nature’s pulse can we ensure life on Earth.
