The use of museum spaces favors critical thinking as well as the initial training process in the career of future teachers. Spaces such as museums should be considered as a tool that improves the teaching labor because, in years to come, these facilities will play key roles when training students in basic education. This article highlights the importance of museums of paleontology and archaeology that enhance the aptitudes of future teachers at Benemérita Escuela Normal de Coahuila. These museums should be regarded as educational spaces where didactic activities can take place and be further developed. In order to achieve the aforementioned approach, teacher trainers and educators are required to understand the wide pedagogic significance that a museum represents in relation to the process of teaching and learning scientific, cultural, and historical aspects, and how such foundations can aid educators in their labor.
