Educator’s competencies: its impact in the learning process

This article is a reflection that exposes some of the components of the educator profile in the training exercise, which lead the teachers in formation of the Bachelor of Basic Education with Emphasis in Mathematics of the District University Francisco José de Caldas, Colombia, to work in an effective manner even without the physical presence of the instructor in the different training scenarios. This situation will be examined from a theoretical framework, which will show components of the university teaching profile that, as visualized by the different behaviors of the students, influenced the formation of commitment and excellence habits in a positive way.
